Thursday Fair for Portugal and Spain with good spells of sunshine, through heavy rain arrives into northwestern areas late in the day. Rain and cloud in eastern areas of Spain. Some scattered showers over the Balearics and Corsica though often dry and sunny. Scattered showers too in Italy, mostly north and west, but often dry. Mixed cloud and sun for the Balkan States. Greece and Turkey should be dry with decent spells of sunshine to come here. France will be mostly dry with broken cloud, just an odd shower to the south, windy in the west and increasingly wet northwest. Early rain in the Low Countries and northwest Germany tends to east, some sun breaking out. Poland and Hungary should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Austria and Switzerland are mostly dry, just an occasional showers in the south. A few showers too in Slovakia and Romania but many dry with sun spells. Widely windy across northern Europe. Extensive rain and snow in central and south Norway in the morning soon slips ea st into Denmark and Sweden, snow spreading widely in northern areas and into Finland. South and east Finland stay dry though cloudy, similar conditions in the Baltic States too.
